5.4 (THE END)

We started by learning the gigue again. The slo-mo section continues to confound us (me), and I think it’s because I screwed up a measure in it. I’ll be double-checking that today.

“Juno’s Hymn,” on the other hand, is coming along nicely.

Otherwise, it was one of those scrape-your-way-through-the-off-book-blues kind of scene. There is more than one blocking issue now that we have the full cast and the set in place, but I can fix those easily.

Tech talk: I’m still looking for a green laser device for Hymen’s appearance; I’ve asked my DJ/burner friends for advice on Facebook.
