Update on Peter & the Torture Devices

You may recall that I had a scathingly brilliant idea for the set for Newnan Theatre Company's Peter & the Starcatcher, and I built a model for it:

And then, astonishingly, it was built over the weekend while I was away:

We immediately dubbed them the "torture devices" and began playing with them.

So far so good!  My amazing cast is becoming quite adept at not falling off or tipping over the devices, and kudos to John Caldwell for SUCCESSIVELY APPROXIMATING these buggers after nearly every rehearsal. (Last night we decided we could shorten the pipes by at least six inches.)
