TASK AVOIDANCE: a report

I am so desperate to avoid working on Lichtenbergianism for Kids and the cocktails book that I actually started a short story yesterday.

You have to understand that I am in no way a fiction writer, nor do I know what I would do with this story if I ever finished it, but there we are.  To be fair, I have been avoiding writing this short story for about ten years, so I guess I get points for that.

I also have had a stack of papers on my desk for months now, and in my desperation I have decided to clear that off, one folder at a time.

Also, the grass needs mowing.
