Fun Friday Resources

It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve put up some resources, so this week is kind of a dump and run. Full disclosure: I have not signed up for accounts on some of these, so I cannot personally vouch for their utility, quality, etc. (I try very hard to resist looking at yet another system for getting organized, and so should you.) However, they looked as if they might be useful to you if you’re still in the market.

How’s Your ______? is pretty simple: It gives you a daily check-in on anything you like — pain, mood, writing goals, diet. It uses a 1–5 scale, so literally one click and you’ve rated your _______.

Your Week is a simple goal-setting planner: You put in your tasks for the week or for the future, and it maintains the list for you. It would be one way to prioritize all your to-do’s. (I didn’t sign up for this because I already have a simple system.) Available as an app as well.

iBucket is an app for the dedicated goal-setter. It’s collaborative and social media connected, so if you’re looking for a way for your scenius to create that gigantic art project for the burn, this might be for you.

Drafts is an app (Mac/iOS only) that looks promising, a kind of WASTE BOOK that allows you to dump thoughts into it and then deal with the detritus later. I’ve downloaded it and will give it a whirl to see if it’s more effective that my haphazard method of jotting.

Finally, just for fun, here’s Morse Decoder, for those who think it’s great fun to send messages to friends that they can’t read. -.-. .-. .- ... / -- . .-.. .. --- .-. / . ... -
