First up, Europeana, an inter-agency source for all kinds of goodies: art, books, music from multiple museums and archives in Europe. If you sign up for an account, you can create your own galleries on the site.

In the same vein, Artvee aggregates multiple museums’ collections for your search.

Monoskop is a wiki for the arts, media, and humanities. It tends to the current and avant garde.

As always, be mindful of copyright and usability issues before snagging stuff from these sites; they’re really good about letting you know what’s what with each resource.

With that, have a good time STEALING FROM THE BEST — and have a good weekend!
